See “Lighting the BBQ” section to light the BBQ.

To preheat: Turn BBQ on HIGH for about 8 minutes.

During the first use, you may notice a slight odour
caused by the curing of paint and parts.

After the 8-minute preheat period, place food onto the
cooking plate and cook as desired. Adjust temperature
using the control knob as needed (see “Control Knob and
Temperature Settings” section).

When food is cooked, only remove with a plastic or
wooden cooking utensil as they will be heat-resistant and
will not scratch the non-stick cooking surface. Never use
metal tongs, forks, knives, or any other metal utensil as
these can damage the coating on the non-stick cooking
plate.

When finished cooking, or when the canister/cylinder is
empty, turn the control knob to the LOCK OFF position
and remove the canister/cylinder as per instructions below.

Allow BBQ to cool before moving, disassembling, storing,

or cleaning.

Never Store your Gas Cylinder Indoors

Packing up

Cleaning

All cleaning and maintenance should be done when
BBQ has cooled down and with the canister/cylinder
disconnected.

DO NOT clean any part of the BBQ in a self-cleaning

oven. The extreme heat will damage the finish.

Burning-off the grill after every use about 15
minutes will keep excessive food residue from
building up.

BBQ surfaces can become very hot during use.
Allow cooking plate, lid, and grill body to cool
down completely before handling and cleaning.

Cleaning the Drip Tray

To avoid fat or grease dripping from the barbecue remove

and empty the drip tray after each use.  A small amount of

water can be placed in the drip tray before use to help with

fat removal.  Wait until the drip tray is cool to touch before

disposing of contents.
The drip tray should be washed periodically in a mild

detergent and warm water solution.

   To avoid an

y flare-ups, it is recommended that

the drip tray be checked and emptied regularly.
Contents of the drip tray may be very hot during
cooking. If emptied during extended cooking
extreme caution should be taken and direct
contact by hand should be avoided at all times.
Allow to cool completely before disposing of the
contents.
