See “Lighting the BBQ” section to light the BBQ.
To preheat: Turn BBQ on HIGH for about 8 minutes.
During the first use, you may notice a slight odour
caused by the curing of paint and parts.
After the 8-minute preheat period, place food onto the
cooking plate and cook as desired. Adjust temperature
using the control knob as needed (see “Control Knob and
Temperature Settings” section).
When food is cooked, only remove with a plastic or
wooden cooking utensil as they will be heat-resistant and
will not scratch the non-stick cooking surface. Never use
metal tongs, forks, knives, or any other metal utensil as
these can damage the coating on the non-stick cooking
plate.
When finished cooking, or when the canister/cylinder is
empty, turn the control knob to the LOCK OFF position
and remove the canister/cylinder as per instructions below.
Allow BBQ to cool before moving, disassembling, storing,
or cleaning.

Cooking Instructions
Do not leave any utensils on the cooking plate or
grill while it is hot.
Disconnect the Propane Fuel Canister
Ensure the control knob is in the LOCK OFF position and
that the BBQ is completely cool.
To disconnect the propane fuel canister, simply reverse
the connection instructions given in the “Connect to a
Propane Fuel canister” section.
The canister may be disconnected even if some fuel
remains. When storing or transporting the BBQ, the
propane fuel canister must
always
be disconnected
and the canister cap must be put back on the screw-in
connection.
Dispose of propane fuel canister as per the instructions
printed on the canister. If there are no instructions on
how to dispose of the canister or you are unsure of
how to dispose of the canister, contact the place of
purchase for assistance.

Do not operate BBQ with any type of cover over
the BBQ plate.
Only change propane fuel canister outdoors or in
a well-ventilated place away from naked flames
and any other sources of ignition. Failing to do so
may result in fire or explosion causing property
damage, serious personal injury, or even death.
Disconnect the LPG Cylinder
1. Turn the LPG cylinder valve off and wait for the flame
to go out. Then turn the appliance control valve off.
2. To disconnect the LPG Cylinder ensure the control
knob is in the LOCK OFF position and the BBQ is
completely cool.
3. Simply reverse the connection instructions given in the
“Connect an LPG Cylinder’ section.
4. The cylinder may be disconnected even if some fuel
remains. When storing or transporting the BBQ, the
LPG cylinder must always be disconnected.

Never Store your Gas Cylinder Indoors
If you store your barbecue indoors, ALWAYS disconnect
the gas cylinder first and store the cylinder safely outside.
Cylinders must be stored outdoors in a well ventilated
area out of reach of children, and must not be stored in a
building, garage or any other enclosed area.
Clean the BBQ
Turn the control knob to the LOCK OFF position and
allow the BBQ to cool down completely before cleaning.
Remove the canister/cylinder from the BBQ (refer to
Remove the cooking plate, grill, and
flame tamer.
Wash the cooking plate and flame tamer with warm,
soapy water and a plastic scouring pad. Rinse and dry
thoroughly. DO NOT use steel wool, coarse scouring pads
or caustic/harsh/abrasive cleaners as this could damage

Cleaning
All cleaning and maintenance should be done when
BBQ has cooled down and with the canister/cylinder
disconnected.
DO NOT clean any part of the BBQ in a self-cleaning
oven. The extreme heat will damage the finish.
Burning-off the grill after every use about 15
minutes will keep excessive food residue from
building up.

BBQ surfaces can become very hot during use.
Allow cooking plate, lid, and grill body to cool
down completely before handling and cleaning.
Cleaning the Drip Tray
To avoid fat or grease dripping from the barbecue remove
and empty the drip tray after each use. A small amount of
water can be placed in the drip tray before use to help with
fat removal. Wait until the drip tray is cool to touch before
disposing of contents.
The drip tray should be washed periodically in a mild
detergent and warm water solution.
To avoid an
y flare-ups, it is recommended that
the drip tray be checked and emptied regularly.
Contents of the drip tray may be very hot during
cooking. If emptied during extended cooking
extreme caution should be taken and direct
contact by hand should be avoided at all times.
Allow to cool completely before disposing of the
contents.

cool to the touch.
2. Remove and clean out the drip tray (store under
cooking plate).
3. Unscrew the injector from the burner inlet pipe and
remove the hose and regulator (store under cooking
plate).
4. Pull out both sets of leg retention pins and rotate
legs upwards to hold the lid closed for transporting.
