Examples of Pinpoint Detection
The above graphic shows examples of how pinpoint detection is indicated on the PD
6500.
A knife located on the center of a persons body activates pinpoint lights on BOTH sides of
the archway. A weapon located either on the right or left side of the body activates pinpoint
lights on the right OR left side of the archway respectively.
Note that in this application, the detector does not alarm on harmless personal items, such
as coins, keys and cigarette packs.
