If the segment below is not showing, press

ACCEPT/REJECT to turn it on. If it is show-

ing, pressing this pad will turn it OFF.

Remember: When you press the ACCEPT

/REJECT touchpad, you cause the dis-

crimination circuit to reject a target that is

shown on corresponding segments of both

the Lower and Upper Scales. This rejec-

tion will be indicated as the Lower Scale

Discrimination Segment disappears.

The same touchpad is used to cause

the detector to accept a target. When

such a desired target is being shown by

the cursor but not the corresponding

Discrimination Segment below, press the

ACCEPT/REJECT touchpad. The segment

will be turned ON and appear, indicating

that your desired target will now cause an

increase in sound.

Note: It is important to remember that

each time the GTI 2500 is turned OFF any

ACCEPT/REJECT selections that you have

made will be retained only in the Custom

mode. ACCEPT/REJECT modifications that

you might have made in the preset Coins,
