Setup Map - Overview
The ‘Setup Map’ option displays the Map Setup Pages.
These pages determine how map features are displayed
allowing you to tailor the map to your needs.
The Map Page Setup Options
The Map Setup Page consists of fi ve sub-pages, each
accessed by an on-screen button. Each page provides a list
of options for the features listed.
Scale options are ‘Off’, ‘Auto’, or 20 feet through 500
feet (5m throught 800km). When ‘Auto’ is selected, the
maximum scale will be determined by the ‘Detail’ setting
“Auto Zoom’ scales the map to show your location and the
next point you are navigating to.
Page -
Orientation:
‘Track Up’ or ‘North Up’.
Auto Zoom:
On or Off.
Detail:
Most, More, Normal, Less, or Least.
Latitude and Longitude Grid:
On or Off.
Tracks -
Saved Tracks:
Scale options.
Track Log:
Scale options.
Goto Line:
Bearing or Course.
Map Features -
Points of Interest
(Controls display
of navigation aids.)
Waypoints:
Scale options.
Text -
Points of Interest:
Sizes from None, Small,
Medium, or Large.
Waypoints:
Sizes from None, Small, Medium,
or Large.
Map Data -
Controls the display of optional map data.
The Latitude/Longitude Grid option allows you view
latitude and longitude grids lines on the Map Page and is
useful when using the map when zoomed In and panning
the map. Scale options indicate the map scale at which
Tracks, Tracks Logs, Map Features (i.e., Navigation Aids),
or Text Boxes for Map Features will appear, allowing you
to remove map clutter and defi ne map features as desired.
