Edge Owner’s Manual

PPENDIX

Garmin Training

Center

The Garmin Training Center

software is included in the Edge

product box. Locate the Training

Center CD and use it to install

Training Center on your personal

computer.
Training Center software allows

you to overlay your ride data

onto a map. It offers interactive

analysis tools that measure your

speed, distance, climb, and

descent against varying terrain,

elevation and more. Create

and schedule custom courses

and workouts or use workout

templates and download them to

the Edge.

To install Training Center:

1. Insert the Training Center CD

into your computer’s CD-ROM

drive. Your computer should

automatically run the start-up

ﬁle and display a welcome

screen.

2. If the welcome screen does

not appear, click

Start

and

then click

Run…

. Type in the

drive letter of your CD-ROM

drive followed by “setup”

(example: D:\setup). Then

press

Enter

3. When the welcome screen

appears, click

Install Training

Center

. Then click

Next

4. Click

I accept the terms of

the license agreement

. Then

click
