TEMPERATURE CONVERSION CHART 

 

The numbers in the body of the table give in degrees F the temperature indicated in degrees C at the top and side.  
For example, to convert 178°C to Fahrenheit scale, find the first two numbers, (17), in the column labeled "Degrees 
C".   Proceed in a horizontal line to the column labeled "8," (the third number in 178), which shows 352°F as 
corresponding to 178°C. 

 

To convert 352°F to Celsius scale, find 352°F in the Fahrenheit readings, then, in the column labeled " Degrees C," 
find the number which is on the same horizontal line, (17).  Next, fill in the last number from the heading of the column 
in which 352°F was found, (8), resulting in 178°C, which is equivalent to 352°F. 

 

Temperatures not included in the chart can be determined /- 1 degree, using these formulae: 
 
 

 

 

?°C = .56 x (T°F - 32)    Example:  .56 x (352°F - 32) = 179.2°C 

 

 

 

?°F = (1.8 x T°C) + 32   Example:  (1.8 x 178°C) + 32 = 352.4°F
