- Posizonaate la macchina su di una superficie
piana, orizzontale e spaziosa.
- Svitate il tappo di riempimento dell’olio
- Svitate il tappo di riempimento del serbatoio dell’olio.
- Versate 0,6 litri di olio lungo il tubo di riempimento.
- Attendete 1 minuto in modo che l’olio scenda
completamente nel carter del motore.
- Ripulite la bacchetta del tappo dell’olio con un
panno asciutto.
- Inserite la bacchetta e avvitate il tappo dell’olo.
- Svitate di nuovo il tappo e verificate la tacca che
l’olio ha lasciato sulla bacchetta. La tacca lasciata
dall’olio deve risultare compresa tra la tacca di
minimo e quella di massimo.
- Se la tacca risulta più bassa del livello minimo,
aggiungete un po’ di olio e tornate a verificare.
- Se la tacca risulta al di sopra del livello massimo,
sarà necessario togliere dell’olio dal carter. A tal
scopo inclinate il rasaerba di lato, in modo che il
filtro dell’aria resti verso l’alto, e fate uscire un po’
di olio (Posizionate un recipiente all’estremità del
tubo per evitare che dell’olio fuoriesca sulla
macchina o al suolo).
8.4.3. CONTROLLO DELLA CANDELA
I problemi più comuni quando si avvia una macchina
sono prodotti da una candela sporca o in cattivo stato.
Pulire la candela e controllare regolarmente.
Verificare che la distanza tra gli elettrodi della stessa
(0,6 – 0,7 mm).
8.4.4. PULIZIA DELLE ALETTE DEL CILINDRO
Le alette del cilindro sono responsabili del
raffreddamento del motore a contatto con l’aria.
Queste alette devono essere sempre pulite e nessun
materiale deve trovarsi tra l’una e l’altra tale da
limitare il flusso d’aria. Alette sporche surriscaldano
il motore che rischia di grippare. Controllate quindi
regolarmente le condizioni delle alette del cilindro.
