For continuous efficiency, the cooler cores must be periodically cleaned with either vacuum or
compressed air. If wet cleaning is required, shield motor and spray on a mild soap solution and flush with
clean water.
NOTICE
Coolers are aluminum; do not use any cleaning solution that is not compatible
with aluminum. Use of improper solution may result in damage to the cooler.

FOUNDATION
- The rotary screw compressor requires no special foundation, but should be mounted on
a smooth and solid surface. Whenever possible, install the unit near level. Mounting bolts are not
normally required. However, installation conditions such as piping rigidity, angle of tilt, or danger of
shifting from outside vibration or moving vehicles may require the use of mounting bolts and shims to
provide uniform support for the base. Belt alignment and tension should be checked after installation.

OIL SUMP / OIL COOLER DRAIN
– Sump oil is drained from single valve and flexible hose assembly
accessible from removable right-side panel. Oil cooler charge is drained from a single plugged connection
on the lower, left-hand side of the core (see Figure 1-3).
