At the factory, the values have been set to a default value. During commissioning, these values can be
adapted to the customer-specific system.
NOTICE
Property damage due to improper operation!
Wrong parameters and poor knowledge in the control technology can cause
malfunctions of the system.
Ø
Only authorised, instructed, and competent personnel with knowledge in the
field of PID control are allowed to change parameters.
Ø
Before changing parameters contact our service people.
Ø
Avoid strong changes of pressure.
Ø
Only change pressure in small steps and check the settings made.
PID standby time (PID-Standbyzeit)
The pump has been set in a way that it will stop if the setpoint pressure is undershot. By setting a value for
the standby time (in seconds) the pump stops only after this time has elapsed. If the setpoint pressure is ex-
ceeded, the pump will start automatically and regulates itself back to the setpoint value.
PID standby hysteresis (PID-Standbyhysterese)
(Fig. 13/9)
The PID standby hysteresis specifies the pressure values for switch-on and switch-off pressure of the pump.
If the pump shall not be switched off (standby), keep the default values at 0.
DO1-diff[%]
Here, the switch hysteresis of the solenoid valve can be changed. This is used for damping the overshooting
to achieve smooth control.
If the system needs too low volume flow at the pre-set operating pressure, the setpoint value can
be undershot excessively at minimum speed. Then, the control tries to switch the solenoid valve
on again and again.
To counteract continuous readjustment by the solenoid valve we recommend using the standby
operation of the pump.
