Before using the pump, check that the electric cable and/or the outlet are not dama- i.
ged.
Before carrying out any kind of work on the pump, disconnect the plug from the j.
mains outlet.
If the pump is installed in a drain, the drain has to be closed with a lid to ensure the k.
safety of passers-by.
The fastening of the outlet pipe must be reinforced with a pipe clamp. Do not exceed l.
the max. submersion depth (see technical data). To avoid or prevention potential
damages (e.g. flooded rooms etc.) due to faulty pump operation (caused by faults
or defects), the owner (operator) is obligate to take reasonable safety measures (in-
stallation of an alarm system, reserve pump or similar). In case of sandy or muddy
ground, it is necessary to have the pump run while suspended from a rope or chain,
or to place the pump on a suitable base to avoid the suction part from sinking into
the ground.
If the pump is defective, the repair must be carried out by an authorised service shop. m.
