Pumping water
Place the device in the water, making sure that it is in a vertical and safe position.
If you can not ensure a safe position, hang the device in the water by its handle (e.g. with
a rope).
Ensure that the floater switch is free to move.
Insert the plug into the mains outlet.
The pump volume is reduced the higher the water needs to be pumped. The pump
height will be reduced if both hose connections are used.
Safety measures
Attention:
Before the installation and first use of the device, it is absolutely necessary
that you read this operating manual. For safety reasons, persons who have not read the
operating manual may not use the pump. Persons under 16 years of age are prohibited
from using the pump and must be kept away from the connected pump.
The operator is responsible with regard to third parties in relation to the use of the a.
pump (water installation etc.). This device is not designed to be used by persons
(including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lacking
in experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible
for their safety or receive instructions from this person as to how the device is to be
used. Children should be monitored to ensure that they do not play with the device.

The temperature of the fluid being pumped out may not 35 °C. If extension h.
cables are used, these must be made of rubber, type HO7 RN-F, according to the
standards DIN 57282 or DIN 57245. Never touch, lift or transport the pump by the
cable when it is connected to the electric supply. Make sure that the connection
socket is not exposed to water or dampness and that the plug is protected against
moisture.
