Mounting the Spool
Before mounting the spool, dismount the gear shaft from the motor
unit or remove the spark plug cap!
To operate the machine as a grass-trimmer, mount the spool on the gear case

1.

Block the cutting tool holder of the gear case (1) by using the toothed

locking disc (A) and the included hex key. Insert the hex key into the
provided opening.
Attention LEFT-HAND THREAD!

2.

Turn the spool on the cutting tool holder and turn the spool counter

clockwise. Hold the hex key tight while turning the spool on the thread.
Mounting the Brush Cutter Blade
Before mounting the blade, dismount the gear shaft from the motor
unit or remove the spark plug cap!
The cutting tool holder is equipped with left-hand thread.
The provided brush cutter blade is sharpened on both sides and can be
mounted inversed when worn. After both sides are worn, sharpen the cutter
blade or have it sharpened by a professional.

Insert the toothed locking disc on the

thread of the cutting tool holder (1).

2.

Place the brush cutter blade on the tool

holder and then the lock washer (C). Make
sure the lock washer is placed with the
convex side up!
