To replace the blade [ Fig. T1 / T2 ]:

Cut injury when the blade turns and it is damaged, bent, out of
balance or has chipped edges.

Do not use the mower when the blade is damaged, bent, out
of balance or has chipped edges.

Do not regrind the blade.
The GARDENA spare parts are available from your GARDENA dealer or
from the GARDENA service.

Only use an original GARDENA Blade
Art. 4120
For safety reasons, we recommend that the blade be replaced by
GARDENA Service or by an authorised GARDENA dealer.
1. Insert a screwdriver into one of the proviced holes at the bottom of
the housing

The screwdriver thus serves as a stop for the blade.
2. Unscrew the blade bolt

.
Make sure that the spacer
(24)
is not damaged when applying the force.
3. Remove the blade bolt
(25)
and the washer
(26)
.
4. Remove the blade

5. Put the new blade
(27)
on the mower. The inscription on the knife
(this side to grass) must be visible.
6. Put the washer
(26)
and the blade bolt
(25)
on the mower.
7. Screw the new blade

tight with the blade bolt
(25)
(tightening torque is
15 – 20 Nm). Do not over-torque.
Make sure that the spacer
(24)
is not damaged when applying the force.
8. Pull the screwdriver out of the mower.
Make sure that the screwdriver is removed before restarting the mower
again.
