Mowing without the
grass box :
Mowing tips :
A
Danger ! Risk of injury !
V
Do not put your hand in the discharge opening.
When the protective flap
M
is released, this closes automatically
and covers the discharge opening.
The protective flap
M
is arranged in such a way that it is still
possible to mow with the protective flap closed but without a
grass box. The cut grass is then discharged onto the lawn.
If grass residue is left in the discharge opening, pull mower
backwards about 1 m so that the grass residue can drop out
downwards.
To produce a well-maintained lawn, we recommend cutting the
lawn regularly, once a week if possible. The lawn becomes thicker
if cut frequently.
After relatively long intervals between mowing (
holiday lawn
),
first of all cut in one direction with the cutting height as high as
possible, then cut in the crosswise direction at the cutting height
required.
If possible, only cut the grass when it is dry, if the grass is damp,
the cutting pattern will be uneven.

Storing / transporting
the mower :
Disposal :
(in accordance with
RL 2002 / 96 / EC)
Disposing of
the Accu :
6. Storage
1. Remove safety key.
2. Clean mower before storage and connect to the charger (see
7. Maintenance).
3. Store mower in a dry, frostproof but cool place out of reach of
children.
TIP :
To save space the grass box can be placed on top of the
folded up mower.
If the mower is not stored connected constantly to the charger,
the Accu must be charged at least
every six months
because
it self-discharges. Self-discharging is reduced at low storage
temperatures.
The product must not be added to normal household waste. It
must be disposed of properly.
The Accu contains lead cells. After their lifetime has expired, they
must not be disposed of as normal household rubbish,
but must
be disposed of properly.
Please dispose of the flat Accu via your local municipal disposal
point.
It is essential to return the Accu to a GARDENA dealership or to
dispose of it via your your local municipal disposal point. Only
hand over the Accu in a discharged condition.
