The position of the XControl in the tool axis is determined with a reference tool with the length 128.44 mm. On the control-
ler, it is possible to check in the file folder XCONTROL in the file L_L_POS1.TAB whether the reference position of the XCon-
trol in the tool axis was saved.
When reconfiguring the XControl, the existing reference value is moved to row 1 of column HEIGHT and the current refer-
ence value is written in row 0. A values comparison is possible.

BSP_L_BREAK. BSP_L_BREAK.H is for monitoring
the tool in the spindle. The tool
must be positioned centrally in
the tool axis with a distance of
approx. 5 mm to the contact
point above the XControl. The
two other axes are not travelled
in the probing process. The controller reports “tool
breakage” if the calculated tool
length D1 from the tool memory
shows a delta of -2 mm. The con-
troller reports a “swarf nest” if the
calculated tool length D1 from
the tool memory shows a delta
