7. On the
Device Control
screen, press and hold the Manual Lift arrow to lift up the
Hard Top Lifter Frame until it is six inches from the ceiling.
CAUTION
When lifting manually, make sure that you do not run the item into the MyLifter units.
Running the item into the lifters can cause damage to the lifter motors, damage per-
sonal property, or cause personal injury.
8. On the
Device Control
screen, tap the
Set High
button (
) to set your smart
high point.
A dialog box opens asking you if you are sure that you want to set the current
cable position as the smart high point.
9. Tap
Set
to set the smart high point and to close the dialog box.
Attach the Hard Top Lifter Frame to your hard top
1. Back your vehicle into the garage under the raised Hard Top Lifter Frame.
2. Make sure all electrical and physical connections between your hard top and
your vehicle are disconnected according to your manufacturer's instructions.
3. Disconnect your Freedom Panels and store them in your storage bags accord-
ing to the manufacturer's instructions.
4. On the
Device Control
screen in the MyLifter app, press and hold the
Manual
Lower
arrow to lower the frame onto your hard top, leaving a little cable slack.
5. On the
Device Control
screen, tap the
Set Low
button (
) to set your smart
low point.
A dialog box opens asking you if you are sure that you want to set the current
cable position as the smart low point
6. Tap
Set
to set the smart low point and to close the dialog box.
7. Check that the Rear Support Adjuster is aligned with your rear window and the
frame is centered on your hard top.
