Each Smart Track should cross two studs.

b. If your ceiling studs run perpendicular to the garage door, your Smart Track

pieces should be installed parallel to the garage door, with your two
MyLifters on the same track.

8. Use a stud finder to find the two studs that are nearest to your marks on the ceil-

ing.

Depending on your stud orientation, one stud may sit between your marks with
the other on the outside of your marks.

Or, the studs will sit just outside of both sets of marks.
