3.1 - CHOOSING THE LOCATION
• This unit is designed to be installed in sheltered rooms (IP 20).
• Do not install the device in a room containing inflammable, alkaline,
acidic, greasy or very damp air, nor in one where water is liable to be
projected. The components will be irremediably damaged.
• Choose the most central position in the room.
• Check that the ceiling is sufficiently sturdy to support the unit’s weight.
• In the position chosen, check that no obstacle will impede installation
and maintenance (beam, insufficient false ceiling height, fixed false
ceiling panels, access impossible for maintenance, etc.).
• Provide an access for easy maintenance, namely for the valve (and
electrical box for IWCi 3-4-5 models).
• Provide for the water pipes, electric cables and the condensate discharge
outlet.
• Air must be able to circulate freely around the unit.
Note:
air diffusion will be less efficient if room height is greater than 3
meters.
3.2 - MONTAGGIO IWCi 3-4-5
•
Use the drilling template provided (2) to determine the position of the
suspension rods (1).
•
The template must be placed between 2 “T” rails of the false ceiling.
•
Install the suspension rods (not supplied).
•
Place the side where the connections are located in the most
appropriate position.
•
The “T” rail (3), located on the electrical box side, must be
temporarily removed.
•
Put the unit in place and check that it is level.
•
Adjust the distance between the unit and the false ceiling (5) (max.
23 mm) by using the suspension rod nuts.
•
Also check the distance between the suspension flange (6) and the
ceiling (7) (min. 41 mm). A lesser distance may create noise if the
unit touches the ceiling.

3 - MONTAGGIO
3.1 - SCELTA DEL COLLOCAMENTO
• Unità adatta per essere installata in locali riparati (IP 20).
• Non montare l’unità in un locale contenente atmosfera infiammabile,
alcalina, acida, grassa, molto umida o esposta a proiezioni d’acqua. I
componenti sarebbero irrimediabilmente danneggiati.
• Scegliere la posizione più centrale del locale.
• Verificare che il soffitto sia sufficientemente solido per sostenere il peso
dell’unità.
• Verificare che nel luogo scelto nessun oggetto ostacolerà l’impianto
e la sua manutenzione (travi, altezza del controsoffitto insufficiente,
pannelli del controsoffitto non smontabili, accesso per la manutenzione
impossibile...).
• Prevedere un facile accesso per la manutenzione, in particolare per la
valvola motorizzata (e quadro elettrico per i modelli IWCi 3-4-5).
• Prevedere il passaggio dei tubi dell’acqua, dei cavi elettrici, e
dell’evacuazione della condensa.
• L’aria deve circolare liberamente attorno all’unità.
Nota: la diffusione dell’aria sarà meno buona se l’altezza del locale è
superiore a metri 3.
3.2 - MONTAGGIO IWCi 3-4-5
• Utilizzare la dima di foratura fornita (2) per determinare la posizione delle
aste di sospensione (1).
• La dima deve essere collocata tra due profili a “T” del controsoffitto.
• Collocare in sede le aste di sospensione (non fornite).
• Mettere il lato dei raccordi nella posizione più appropriata per i
collegamenti.
• Il profilo a “T” (3) che si trova sul lato del quadro elettrico deve essere
tolto momentaneamente.
• Collocare in sede l’unità e verificare che sia a livello.
• Regolare la distanza tra l’unità e il controsoffitto (5) (23 mm massimo)
utilizzando i dadi delle aste.
• Verificare la distanza anche tra la flangia di sospensione (6) e il soffitto
(7) (41 mm minimo). Una distanza inferiore può causare rumore se
l’unità tocca il soffitto.
