TIPS & TROUBLESHOOTING

solid red Energizer has stopped
pulsing due to ba ery
voltage falling less than 11
V. (This protects the ba ery
from permanent damage.) Replace fl at ba ery with a fully
charged one
No voltage on
fence • Fence shorted
• Fence disconnected
from energizer.
• Energizer may have
been damaged by
lightning
Check energizer isn’t faulty;
- disconnect from fence and
earth
- measure across fence and
earth terminals with a
Gallagher Fence Volt Meter
- if less than 5 kV return
energizer for service
- if more than 5 kV the fault
is with the fence or earth
system.
