Before connecting these equipments to mains, confirm the following:
- Do not exist covers or other objects that obstruct the machine’s air inlet and outlets, arming its cooling.
- Main switch should be in zero position.
- Electrode holder should be away from the working piece, without being in contact with the earth clamp.
- Welding cables should be fixed and tight in their respective terminals e earth should have a perfect contact.
- After machine is connected to mains, should adjust welding current and visualizing the current indicator in
machine’s front panel. Current should be according to the kind of electrodes used (if necessary, consult
electrodes manufacturer manuals).
- Turn main switch to functioning position. Machine under voltage indicator lights on and welding can be
initiated.

5 5 5 5. . . . MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE
Welding rectifiers do not need maintenance special cares, since elementary protection rules are taken care.
Clean the machine periodically with clean and dry air. The frequency of this operation should be increased if the
environment where the machine operates has more dust and humidity. To proceed with this operation,
disconnect machine from mains and remove lateral panels and cover.
Continuous functioning may originate vibrations. In order to avoid this situation, one should adjust periodically
regulator adjusting nuts (See figure below). This operation should be effected by pressing gradually and in the
mean time verifying if the adjusting wheel does not get jam. Simultaneously, clean guide bars and proceed with
its greasing.
