Preparation of Site 

(a)  

Carefully remove all packaging and inspect bath thoroughly.  

Note: 

Do not use sharp knives or instruments to remove packaging around the finished surface 

areas of the bath. 

(b)  

Ensure all component parts are present before proceeding to remove any existing facilities. 

(c) 

Remove any existing equipment and materials as necessary to prepare the site. 

(d)

 

Prepare the floor area and ensure it is flat, level and structurally sound. 

(e)

 

A switched fuse spur rated at 5A, fitted with a RCCB rated at 30mA will also be required. 

 

Electrical Work 
 

All  electrical  work  must  comply  with  current  local  regulations  and  should  only  be  carried  out  by  a 
qualified electrician. 
 
The electrical supply should be fed via the mains through a RCCB to a switched fused spur rated at 5 

Amps where the power cable (supplied with the bath) is hard-wired connected.  Please note this must be 
accessible  by  the  property  owner  to  allow  them  to  switch  the  unit  off  if  required  (i.e.  NOT  BEHIND 
PANELS OR BOXED IN). 
 

Test the unit is functioning by operating the up and down buttons so that the bath lifts  & lowers, and 
ensure the green power indicator light is visible on the control box check using a mirror. 
 

Bath Fitting 

(a)

 

Remove the transportation bars & wheels.

 

 

 

It is imperative that the bath is correctly level in all planes, as any distortion will cause 
the 4 stainless platform rods to judder & possible leakage through the bath glands. 

 
(b)

 

Fit bath to the floor using the powered bath installation kit provided – see page14

.

 

 

 

Make  sure  the  floor  is  sound  in  the  bath  fixing  area;  offer  the  bath  into  the  required 
position.   

 

 

Mark the fixing center’s for the tap end base plate fig (10) & fit to the floor using the 

installation kit provided, making sure the stainless rod’s are vertical in both planes pack 
as required to achieve this. 

 

 

Repeat  the  same  for  the  opposite  end  making  sure  the  dimension between  the  base 
plates  is  956mm  see  fig  (11)

 Plumbing  

Water  &  waste  Connection  are  situated  at  the  tap  end  of  the  unit  there  are  2  x  22mm      tail 
Pipes for the hot supply marked red & cold supply marked blue.
