Recommended Regular Inspections
These regular inspections are essential to both the health of your bath as well as the safety
and care of clients. If, for
ANY reason, you have concerns over the bath operation or any part
of these checks fail, please contact us immediately.
WARNING SAFETY NOTICE

Maximum user weight as the Safety label.

Make sure the area outside the bath is kept clear to allow free access.

Make sure the floor area around the bath is kept free from excess water to avoid
persons slipping.

Do not allow unauthorised persons to operate this bathing system.
Monthly Checks

Operate the bath controls to make sure the unit functions correctly.

Ensure the bath is free to move up and down and that all panels are securely
fastened.

Chalk mark deposits from the water or mild scratches may be removed from the bath
surface with a mild cutting fluid such as ‘T’ Cut or Brasso.

Lincoln - The 4 x rods holding the platform should be cleaned using a silicone-based
furniture polish. (i.e. Mr. Sheen.) Please do not use wax-based products. Also carry
out a visual inspection of the seals around the rods for signs of damage.

If there is a Bathing/Changing platform fitted (Lincoln bath) check it will lift easily and
that all hinge retaining screws are in place and tight & the platform anti lift brackets
operate correctly.

If there is a Shepherds crook fitted ensure the Shepherds crook /Shower pole is firm
and vertical –
