Emptying programme

When prompted by the display, rinse the water tank
and then fill it with fresh water up to the "max" mark.
If a filter is used, reinsert it now.

Touch the

symbol.

The programme will run for approx. 7 minutes and
rinse the appliance.

Empty and replace the drip tray.

Touch the

™

symbol.

The programme has finished.

Touch the

™

symbol.

The appliance is ready to use.

Emptying programme

The emptying programme is a service programme which
is used to remove coffee bean residue and to prevent
damage caused by frost during transportation and
storage. The appliance must be ready for use.

Rotate the function selector to

Select "Emptying programme" with the rotary
selector.

Touch the

™

symbol.

Empty the bean container and reinsert it.

If present, remove the milk container and close the
door.

Close the door.
The emptying programme runs for
approx. 2 minutes.

Empty and reinsert the water tank.

Close the door.
The emptying programme runs for
approx. 2 minutes.

Remove the brewing unit and clean it thoroughly.

Touch the

™

symbol.

Clean the drip tray, coffee residue container, milk
system and milk hose set thoroughly and then
reinsert them.

Close the door.

The emptying programme has finished.
