10  Possible failures and their cause

Failure and / or indication

Possible cause:

Red LED (status indication) lights up square-spindle drive has switched off with 

overcurrent (is blocked)

Red LED (status indication)

With position of DIP switch 3 = 

off

Opening drive has switched off with overcurrent 

caused by 

- short circuit in the drive supply line or 

- defective electronics

With position of DIP switch 3 = 

on

:

Opening drive has switched off with undercurrent 

caused by 

- fracture of drive supply line 

- opening drive connected incorrectly or 

unauthorised or defective opening drive

Red and green LEDs

(status indication)

Supply voltage < 19 V

(verify with voltmeter!)

Opening drive works incorrectly

Check DIP switch settings (cf. p. 24)
If the square-spindle drive is connected to an 

USKM module, DIP switches 3 and 4 must be set 

to 

on

release in OPEN direction and/or not 

lock in CLOSE direction

Wrong DIP switch setting (cf. p. 24) or 2 minutes' 

learning cycle still running (no error !).

11  Disassembly and disposal

Disassembly

Always observe the warning signs !

To disassemble the appliance follow the mounting instructions in reverse order, omitting the 
adjustments. The adjustment work is not applicable.

12 Disposal

Dispose of the components in accordance with the local disposal regulations.
