Determining the cross-section of the power supply cable at 24 V DC
At 24 V DC, the cable cross-section must be calculated based on the cable length. The cable
lengths for connecting a drive are listed in the table below.

9 Operation
For reversing the running direction, the drive must be de-energized for at least 1 s.
Switch-off in closed position
Thanks to the integral load interruption, the drive switches off in closed position. Setting the limit
switch is therefore not required. When the end position is reached, the drive reverses approx.
1 mm, thus relieving both gaskets and fastening brackets.
When travelling forwards, the drive switches to soft running mode for the last 50 mm, i.e. it runs
at reduced speed (< 5 mm/s).
Setting the travel
The travel of the chain drive is factory set to 300 mm, 500 mm
or 800 mm, respectively.
This setting can be changed at any time using the DIP
switches located in the recess underneath the black rubber
cap on the top of the motor housing.
The settings of the DIP switches have to be changed as
indicated in the table below. To activate the change, the chain
must be extended completely and then retracted again.
After this a test run should be completed.
