9. SOS FUNCTION
KEEP IN MIND THAT THE SOS FUNCTION
ONLY WORKS WHEN THE POWER ADAPTOR
IS CONNECTED AND/OR WHEN FULL BATTER-
IES ARE INSERTED!
9.1 Preparation:
SOS function on/off:
When not using the SOS function at all, you
can turn this function off entirely via the setting
‘ALARM FUNC’ (see chapter 5. If you do want to
use this function, use this setting to check whether
the SOS function is set to ‘ON’.
SOS numbers:
The numbers you’ve saved under M1, M2 and
M3 will be dialled in case of emergencies. Check
whether these numbers are correct and discuss
with these contacts beforehand what must be
done when you call them in case of an emergency.
Paragraph 8.2 describes how you can program
the numbers under M1, M2 and M3.
