COMPONENTS & CONTROLS (FIG.1)
UNPACKING
Caution!
This packaging contains sharp objects. Take
care when unpacking. Remove the machine, together
with the accessories supplied, from the packaging.
Check carefully to ensure that the machine is in good
condition and account for all the accessories listed in
this manual.
Also make sure that all the accessories are complete.
If any parts are found to be missing, the machine and
its accessories should be returned together in their
original packaging to the retailer.
Do not throw the packaging away, keep it safe
throughout the guarantee period, then recycle if
possible, otherwise dispose of it by the proper means.
Do not let children play with empty plastic bags due
to the risk of suffocation.
OPERATION
CHARGING THE BATTERY
When charging the screwdriver, a red charge light will
illuminate on the handle of the screwdriver. This red
charge light will turn green when the screwdriver is
fully charged.
Insert the USB charger cable onto the charging port,
Fig.2. The charging port is magnetic and will pull in
the cable when it is close. Make sure it is properly
connected.
The USB interface of the charging cable can be
plugged in to any USB port or any USB mains adaptor
that is used with normal household voltage of 230 V,
50Hz, AC (not supplied).
After normal usage, a minimum of 1.3 hours (USB
mains adaptor) or 2.6 hours (USB cable) charging time
is required to fully recharge the screwdriver.
Do not place charger in an area of extreme heat or
cold. It will work best at normal room temperature.
Remove the product from the charger once it is fully
charged and ready for use.
NOTE: For your safety the screwdriver cannot be
operated when when the charging cable is attached to
the unit.
WARNING!
Charge the screwdriver on a non
combustible surface and do not leave on charge for
more than the stated charge time.
Do not overcharge as this may damage the
screwdriver.
Unplug the USB charging cable when not in use and
store it in a suitable storage cabinet.
Avoid charging your battery in freezing conditions as
charging power will not be sufficient.
Important:
When charging, the cable and screwdriver
may become warm to the touch; this is normal and
does not indicate a problem.
SELECTING A BIT
Pull the bit cartridge back completely, Fig.3. Manually
rotate the bit cartridge clockwise or anticlockwise until
you locate the desired bit.
Take out the bit and insert it into the hex collet. Push
it into the collet until it is firmly in place, Fig.4.
Slide the bit cartridge back into the machine when
finished.
To remove a screwdriver bit, pull it straight from the
collet.
FORWARD AND REVERSE TRIGGER
Squeeze and hold down the top forward trigger
(marked R) to start clockwise rotation. For reverse
(counterclockwise) rotation, squeeze the bottom
reverse trigger (marked L), Fig.5.
When finished using the screwdriver, release the
forward/reverse trigger to turn off the tool.
Caution: To prevent gear damage, always allow the
chuck to come to a complete stop before changing
the direction of rotation.
LED WORK LIGHT (FIG.6)
Caution: Do not look in the light or see the source of
light directly.
Pull the On/Off trigger to light up the lamp. The lamp
keeps on lighting while the switch trigger is being
pulled. The lamp goes out immediately after releasing
the trigger.
SCREW INSERTION
Insert the screwdriver bit into the slot in the head of
the screw. Hold the screwdriver bit perpendicular to
the head of the screw, otherwise the screw or the
screw head may be damaged. Press the screwdriver
bit against the screw with a constant pressure while
driving in the screw.
When the screw is completely screwed in, hold the
machine firmly and release the On/Off trigger,
otherwise the screw or the screw head may be
damaged. If the On/Off trigger is not released
immediately a high torque could also damage the
screwdriver bit or the screwdriver.
