6.1.2.

Removing Battery

How to detach the battery is a procedure opposite to the installation.

!

CAUTION

Be sure to turn off the Power switch before removing the battery.
When installing and/or removing the battery, be careful not to drop
the battery.

6.1.3.

Connecting the power cable to AC adapter

Connect the AC adaptor to DC
Power port of the Splicer, and
plug the AC adaptor into AC outlet.

6.1.4.

Charging the Battery

When charging battery in the S178 Ver.2 splicer
1. After connecting the power cable to AC adapter and plugging the power cable into AC outlet,
Turn the splicer on. Charging process starts.

2. When the charge is completed, the power supply is automatically turned off.

When arc-discharging, charge process stops temporarily. The charge time will be longer.
And the charge time will vary depending on the remaining power level of battery.

Charging, Battery indicator is red.
