Configuration
The camera ships with factory set parameters that are suitable for normal applications. It may be useful to modify
these parameters for particular applications. For this purpose, the camera has 4 user memories which can be
adapted, for example, by using the Config Tool configuration tool (on the supplied CD-ROM). Complete data
records can also be archived and subsequently retrieved as required.
Communication between the camera and the configuration tool takes place over the RS-485 data interface. A level
converter is required in order to obtain adaptation to the various interfaces (PC = RS-232 or USB, camera = RS-
485). The SE adapter which can be obtained from Funkwerk’s After-Sales Service, complete with fitted plug
connectors (Order No. B04906100601), is suitable for this purpose.
