D4 Office

Meaning of the symbols in the status line

Symbol

Designation

Description

Incoming call

You receive a call, the handset rings. The calling num-
ber and the name of the person calling appear in the dis-
play text field as far as this information is available.

Telephony (dial-
ling)

You have started a dialling process in order to call ano-
ther telephone subscriber.

Phone connection The handset now sets up a telephone connection with

another subscriber. The calling number and the name of
the person calling appear in the display text field as far
as this information is available.

Incoming mes-
sage

You receive a message (text)

Outgoing mes-
sage

You prepare a message to another subscriber and send
it.

Battery warning

The battery is exhausted. You should place the handset
into the charger as soon as possible and charge the bat-
tery!

Battery exhausted
message (battery
empty)

The battery charge will last only for a short time. Place
the handset into the charger immediately.

Ö

The handset may itself switch off at any time due to
lack of battery power!

Service call (sys-
tem services)

You are using a system service of the telephone sys-
tem.

Redialling for example.

Or recalling the call or message list (mail list) from
the telephone system.

Lock

The key lock is active. Deactivate the key lock first.

The handset is locked.
When your handset was locked by way of Menu >
Setup > Security > Handset lock, only the emer-
gency call release will work provided that an emer-
gency number has been set up.
