FIRMWARE RENEWAL MODE
Equipment Required
a. USB storage device
b. Remote Control Unit
Firmware Update Procedure
[Preparation]
1. Prepare a blank USB storage device.
2. Copy “pkg” file (example: funai_LC7_WHD_
ZF536232PB10S-001.pkg) to USB storage device.
3. Rename the “pkg” file’s name to “upgrade.pkg”.
[Update procedure]
1. Plug in the AC power cord of TV set.
2. Press [ ] button on the remote control unit to turn
off (standby).
3. Check “STAND BY” indicator (Red LED) lighting.
4. Insert USB storage device with “upgrade.pkg” file
to TV set.
5. Press [ ] button to turn on.
6. After approximately 70 seconds, the following will
appear on the screen.
7. Select “Yes” and press the [OK] button to update.
Note:
Do not turn off the TV set and do not
remove the USB storage device while this
procedure.
8. The update will start and the following will appear
on the screen.
9. When the firmware update is completed, the
following will appear on the screen.
10. Turn the power off.
11. Remove the USB storage device from the USB
port.
12. Turn the power on.
