WARNING INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING
YOUR STABLEMATE SAWHORSE
Warning: To reduce the risk of injury, read and understand this
manual before operating sawhorse/s.
1. Know your sawhorse
Read and understand these warning instructions and labels affixed to the sawhorse. Before use,
be sure everyone using these sawhorses has read and understands these warning instructions
as well as any labels affixed to the sawhorse.
2. Folding Legs
To set up sawhorse: Stand horse on end which locates both the springloaded locking pin and
the set-up position leg stop hole (both are located on each side of your sawhorse). Press locking
pins to release each bent leg from the folded position. Pull all four legs to the set-up position leg
stop hiles. BE SURE ALL FOUR LOCKING PINS SNAP INTO THE SET-UP POSITION LEG STOPS
BEFORE USING YOUR SAWHORSE. To fold down sawhorse stand horse on end which locates
only the spring-loaded locking pin (one on each side of the horse). Press both locking pins to
release each straight leg from the set-up position. Push both straight legs into the frame of the
sawhorse. Next, press both pins (on the other end of your sawhorse) to release both bent legs
from the set-up position. Push both legs into the frame of the sawhorse until both pins snap into
the holes locking all four legs in the folded position. (Note: locking pins may be tight at first but
will loosen up after normal use.)
3. Do Not Work On or Under Sawhorses.
These sawhorses are not designed to be used as a scaffold. Do not use sawhorses as a scaffold.
Do not work under loaded sawhorses.
4. Keep Bystanders Away.
Children and bystanders should be kept at a safe distance from loaded sawhorses. Never leave
loaded sawhorses unattended.
5. The Safe Load Capacity of Each Horse is 1,500 Pounds
Damage to the sawhorse and personal injury may result if more than 1,500 pounds each (or
3,000 pounds per pair) is placed on the sawhorse (s).
