Daily Check

Chapter 9 Maintenance and Inspection

To operate this equipment safely for a long time, it is essential to inspect the equipment and replace consumable parts

This chapter describes the maintenance and inspection procedures for this equipment.

Make sure to perform daily checks and periodic checks to maintain functionality, performance and reliability.

Please note that Fukuda Denshi shall not be liable for accidents arising from failure to perform maintenance and
inspections.

WARNING

Do not disassemble or modify the equipment. Disassembly may cause a fire hazard or
electric shock.

CAUTION



Do not perform any maintenance procedure which is not described in this manual. Failure
to observe this caution may result in a malfunction.

Daily Check

Perform the Daily Check Procedure described below everyday.



If the equipment fails any check item in the Daily Check List (



P10-2 ), the overall judgment will be "Fail".

Repair the equipment so that it passes all the check items.



Use the equipment only if the judgments for all the items are "OK".

Appearance

Visually check the following points according to the description of the table below.

Accessories

Power cable,
Lead cable

Check for scratch and damage.

There should be no scratch or damage.

2) Clip electrode, chest
electrode

Check for dirt, rust, scratch, and damage.

Should be free of dirt, rust, scratch or
damage

3) Recording paper

Check the condition of loading of the
recording paper.

The recording paper should be loaded
properly.

4) Operation Manual

Verify that the operation manual is kept in
specified location.

It must be kept in specified location.
