Lithium Battery for Data Backup

The lithium battery for data backup (hereinafter referred to as lithium battery) needs to be
replaced when used for 6 years. To ensure reliability of safety, function, and performance of
the DS-7001 system bedside monitor, the lithium battery must be replaced periodically.
Otherwise, it may cause the following degradation.

Degradation of the RTC accuracy
Deletion of SRAM data at power OFF.

CAUTION

The periodic replacement parts must be replaced within specified
period.

Before the procedure, prepare a particular kind of driver (Product No. DLR3-75, OSG
Corporation), and a 2.5mm-wide cable tie.

1 Turn OFF the power and detach the bottom panel.

Remove the 2 screws (3

´

circles, and detach the bottom panel.

2 Remove the battery.

Remove the 2 screws (3

´

8W sems)

shown in circles.
Remove the battery pack if loaded.
