11 Maintenance
11-1 Notes on Maintenance

Make sure to observe the following cautions when performing maintenance of the equipment.
CAUTION
Note that we may not be responsible for any accidents resulting from your
negligence in failing to perform maintenance and inspection.
Make sure to carry out daily check before using the equipment.
Perform periodic checks once every 6 to 12 months.
Periodic checks are essential for preventing failures and accidents and maintaining safety
and effectiveness of the equipment.
Make sure to start using the equipment after due preparation.
Ensure that the FX-8322/FX-8322R is installed correctly and that all cables are properly
connected.
Maintenance should be carried out by a specialist.
CAUTION
Do not use or store the FX-8322/FX-8322R
in a place subject to splash of water.
The patient and the operator may be exposed to a risk of electric shock and other
dangerous situations.
Do not subject the FX-8322/FX-8322R
to a strong impact or vibration. Be careful not
to drop it.
Electric shock or fire may result.
Do not subject the liquid crystal display to a strong impact.
The display may be damaged.
Make sure that the patient does not come in contact with electrical parts of the
FX-8322/FX-8322R, other electric appliances, or metallic parts.
The leakage current may increase, thus exposing the patient to dangerous situations.
When you unplug cables, make sure to hold the plug and not the cable.
Do not plug/unplug cables with wet hands.
Electric shock, short circuit, or injury may result.
Wipe off dirt on the surface of the touch-panel display with a soft cloth moistened
with ethanol or with the optional silicon cloth.
