Power Menu Options

Options for the Power menu are described in
Table 2-14
. Default settings for most options in this menu differ
depending on the setting selected for the Power Savings BIOS option. (Refer to
Chapter 5
of this manual for more
information on power management.)

Power savings options should be set to the most conservative values possible for your application; doing so
extends battery life and lowers internal temperatures of the Tablet PC.

Determines whether the system automatically performs a save-to-disk
operation then powers off when the battery is low.
(Note: This feature is supported only by Windows XP and Windows XP
Tablet PC edition. It should be set to Off for Windows 2000 systems.)
Resume On LAN

Select [On] to configure the system to resume operation when the internal
LAN device receives a Magic Packet while it is in Suspend mode.
