This chapter explains the Remote Service Board.

Features
Since this product has its own CPU, OS, communication interface, and power supply, it can monitor
the server status, regardless of the server conditions. In addition, it provides the following functions
for the system administrator, when used in conjunction with the related software (ServerView, etc.).
• Monitoring the server
• Notifying the system administrator of the server error
• Remote controlling the server
This product supports the following communication interface.
• LAN (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX)
LAN cables do not come included with this product.

provided with the server.
