Handling this product
WARNING
CAUTION
• Before installing or removing this product to/from the server, to ensure safety,
turn off the server and any other connected devices and unplug the power
source. Also, remove the power plug of the AC adapter from the outlet. When
turned on, installing or removing this product may cause a device failure, smoke,
or electric shock.
• Since this product is delicate, avoid using it under extreme conditions such as
high/low temperatures, high humidity, direct sunlight, etc. Do not bend, damage,
or severely shock this product. Doing so may cause a device failure, fire, or
electric shock.
• Do not damage or modify the AC adapter. Heating, forced bending, twisting,
pulling, or placing of heavy objects on the power cable can damage it, and cause
an electric shock or fire.
• Do not handle the power plug with wet hands. Failure to do so can cause an
electric shock.
• Do not use the AC adapter if it is damaged or if the plug pins are not firmly
inserted to the outlet. Doing so can cause an electric shock or fire.
• Use a dry cloth to remove all dust from plug pins of the AC adapter and power
outlet. If you continue using them without removing dust, it can cause an electric
shock or fire.
• Do not use a voltage other than that displayed. Also, do not use a double
adapter. Doing so may cause an electric shock or fire.
• If electrical storms are occurring nearby, unplug the power cable and modular
cable. Failure to do so can cause the device to be damaged by lightening and
cause a fire.
• Keep removed covers, caps, screws, batteries, and other small objects young
children might swallow out of their reach. If swallowed contact a doctor straight
away.
• Do not remodel this product. Doing so may cause an electric shock or fire.
• When unplugging the power cable, do not pull on the cable. Pull on the plug to
remove it from the inlet or power outlet. Pulling on the cable can expose the
cable's wiring, break the cable, or cause a fire or electric shock.
• Ensure the plug is fully inserted into the inlet/power outlet. Failure to do so can
lead to a fire or failure.
If you do not use this product, leave it in its package provided with the product in
order to protect it from static electricity.
