Connections

Figure 5.1 shows examples of connection modes between the host system and the IDD. For the
16-bit SCSI, up to 16 devices including the host adapter, IDD, and other SCSI devices can be
connected to the SCSI bus in arbitrary combinations. Install a terminating resistor on the SCSI
device connected to both ends of the SCSI cable.

See Section 4.4 for the cable connection requirements and power cable connections.
