Hard Disk Drives

Removing/Installing Hard Disk Drive/Drive Dummy

Figure 19: 3.5" hard disk drive in frame

Figure 20: 3.5" drive dummy

Free bays are provided with a drive dummy which must be removed before 
fitting another hard disk drive.

I

Keep a drive dummy for future use. If you remove the hard disk drive 
again and do not fit a replacement, you must put back the dummy drive 
because of cooling.
