Independent Channel Mode
This mode allows the memory modules to be arranged in any order in each
channel. The channels do not have to be populated identically.
●
You can use memory modules with different speed ratings within a channel,
whereby the settings of the slowest memory module are used for each
channel.
●
All channels work with the fastest common frequency.
●
All timings except for the clock frequency can vary between the channels.
●
Always start by populating the main memory at CPU 1.
●
If CPU 2 is installed, the following applies:
–
For CPU 2, there must be at least one DIMM module (DIMM 1D)
installed.
