Settings with DIP switches
The system board is supplied with all switches set on default position (OFF).

CMOS OFF CMOS/RTC settings are not cleared (default)
ON CMOS/RTC settings are cleared
BIOS Write
Protect OFF The System BIOS can be written or deleted. Flash-
BIOS update from floppy disk is possible (default).
ON The System BIOS can neither be written to nor
deleted. Flash-BIOS update from floppy disk is not
possible.
Password Skip OFF The password query is effective (default).
ON The password query is skipped. Passwords are
deleted.
Recovery OFF The System BIOS is started with the system BIOS
from the system board (default).
ON The system boots from the „Flash BIOS floppy disk“
and reprograms the system BIOS on the system
board.
