Installing and removing a hard disk drive

The following illustrations show the CELSIUS R. The sequence of actions is identical for all
device variants and configuration levels.

Installing a hard disk drive

►

Open the casing (see "Opening the casing").

►

Take the new hard disk drive out of its packaging.

►

Secure the EasyChange rails on the side of the
hard disk by inserting the pins (a) of the
EasyChange rail in the corresponding holes (b) of
the hard disk.

►

Push the hard disk drive into the casing until the EasyChange rails engage.

►

Connect the data and power supply cables to the hard disk drive or to the hard disk drives.
