Safety Precautions
10
Use the product with the external connection terminal cover,
stereo earphone terminal cover, battery cover, etc. closed. If
the covers are open, dirt or water may get inside causing a
fault.
If you have a weak heart, be careful when setting the incoming
vibration and ringtone volume to prevent adverse effects on
your heart.
Pay attention to items becoming stuck to the ISW13F main
unit. The earpiece/speaker use magnets, and so thumbtacks
and pins, craft knife blades, staples, and other metal objects
sometimes become stuck to the main unit, and cause
unexpected injury. Before using the product, be sure to check
that there are no foreign objects on the earpiece/speaker.
Do not place the product directly on sand at a beach, etc.
Sand or other small particles might get inside the earpiece,
microphone or speaker, causing the volume to drop. If sand
gets inside the ISW13F main unit, it might cause overheating
or a fault.
The product may become hot by prolonged use especially in
high-temperature environment. Be careful when using the
product touching your skin for a long time, as it might cause
low-temperature burns.
When attaching a microSD card, do not release your finger
suddenly to prevent the card from jumping out. Push the
microSD card in the specified direction until it locks. When
removing microSD card, push it until the card is unlocked.
Keep your face away when operating. Especially, keep away
from infants. Doing so might cause injuries or damage.
While writing/reading data to/from a microSD card, do not
subject the ISW13F to vibration or impact, remove the battery
pack or turn off the power. Doing so might cause loss of data
or a fault.
When using the ISW13F for watching TV (1Seg), be careful
not to keep the ISW13F in direct contact with your skin for a
prolonged period, or not to cover the ISW13F with paper, cloth,
bedding, etc. Failure to do so might cause burns or a fault.
■ Battery pack
The battery pack of the ISW13F is a lithium-ion battery.
The battery pack is not fully charged at the time of
purchase. Charge the battery before using the product.
Do not short-circuit the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals
of the battery pack.
Do not puncture the battery pack with a nail, hit it with a
hammer or step on it. Doing so might cause fire or damage.
Do not allow metal objects (such as necklaces and hairpins)
to come in contact with the connection terminals when
carrying or storing the battery pack. Doing so might cause fire
or a fault due to a short circuit.
Do not disassemble, modify or directly solder the battery pack.
Do not remove the external seal. Doing so might cause
spilling of the battery liquid resulting in an accident such as
loss of eyesight if it gets into eyes, or cause overheating,
ignition or rupture.
The battery pack is not waterproof. Do not let the battery pack
get wet. Getting liquid such as water, sea water, urine of pet
animals, etc. into battery pack might cause overheating,
damage, ignition, electrical shock, or fault. If the battery pack
is dropped into water etc, contact au shop or Secure cell
phone support center. Never charge the wet battery pack.
