Working with the workstation

This chapter describes the basics for operating your workstation.

The chapter on "Connecting external devices" has instructions on how to connect external devices
(e.g. mouse, printer) to the workstation.

Please take note of the information in the chapter "Important notes".

Switching the workstation on

Press the release button (1) and open the LED display panel (2).

Press the Suspend/Resume button to switch on the workstation (3).

The power-on indicator

on the workstation lights up.

You can configure the Suspend/Resume button under

Start - Settings - Control Panel -

Power Options - Power Options Properties

If you have assigned a password, you must enter this when requested to do so, in order
to start the operating system password.
