7.5 Adjustment of the Fiber Clamp Strength

7.5 Adjustment of the Fiber Clamp Strength

7.5 Adjustment of the Fiber Clamp Strength

This splicer is basically adjusted for 125um fibers. To splice 80um fibers, loosen
the M2 set screw to reduce the fiber clamp strength. Then tighten the M2 set
screw. To return to the fiber clamp strength for 125um fibers, loosen the M2 set
screw, press the spring plate down and tighten the M2 set screw.

For 125um fiber
