Folder Management
Organize pictures into folders.
To view the
g
FOLDER MANAGEMENT
dialog,
tap the center of the current picture to display
playback icons (pg. 35) and then tap the folder
icon.

Folders are identifi ed by icons at the bottom of
the display:

To choose a folder for playback, tap the icon at
the bottom of the display. Tap
OK
to return to
single-frame playback.

Note
Folder management is only available when a memory
card is inserted in the camera. Folders on memory
cards from other cameras may not be organized as
shown above.

Tip: Folder Management
Folder management can also be accessed from the
playback menu (pg. 67).
The Folder
The folder is password pro-
tected. Tapping the icon
displays a password entry dia-
log; tap the
–
and
+
signs to
enter the four-digit password.
In all other respects the folder functions as a nor-
mal folder.
The password can be freely changed using the
g
PASSWORD
option in the setup menu (pg. 71).
Note that password protection applies on the cam-
era only; fi les are not encrypted and can be viewed
normally on other devices.
