Advanced Paper Selection dialog box
You can specify not only the paper size, paper type and tray settings, but also the scale options and feeding
orientation of the bypass tray in this dialog box.
NOTE:
• You can restore defaults by clicking [Defaults].
Paper Tray
Select the paper tray to use for printing. This feature is the same as [Select By Tray] in the [Paper] drop-down menu.
Original Document Size
Specify the paper size of the file to be printed. This feature is the same as [Size] in the [Paper] drop-down menu.
Scale Options
Specify whether to print a file by reducing/enlarging to the different size by selecting [Output Paper Size].

Output Paper Size
Specify the paper size of the output. This feature is available when [Scale Options] is set to [Automatically Scale].
Paper Type
Specify the type of paper to be printed.This feature is the same as [Type] in the [Paper] drop-down menu.
Bypass Feed Orientation
Specify the orientation for loading paper when using the bypass tray for printing. This is set to [Portrait] when loading
by aligning the short edge of the paper in the bypass tray, and [Landscape] when loading by aligning the long edge
of the paper. If the orientation is restricted according to the paper size, this setting is invalid, and the paper is printed
in the orientation in which it is set. This feature is available when [Paper Tray] is set to [Bypass Tray], and the paper
size is set to a custom paper size whose width and length are between 127.0 mm and 215.9 mm.

2-Sided Print
Specify whether to print on both sides of the paper. For duplex printing, documents can be flipped either on the short
edge or the long edge. Select according to the edge to be bound. The documents are printed with the topward
orientation of the front and rear images unified in respect to the short edge of the documents when selecting
[2-Sided Print, Flip on Short Edge] or the long edge of the documents when selecting [2-Sided Print].

Output
Specify the output method. Select [Collated] to print multiple sets of a document with multiple pages in sets. Select
[Uncollated] to print multiple sets of a document with multiple pages by page. This feature is available when [Hard
Disk] is set to [Installed] or [Memory Capacity] is set to other than [512MB] (for the DocuPrint CM405 df) or [256MB]
(for the DocuPrint CP405 d) on the [Installable Options] dialog box of the [Configuration] tab, or [EMF Spooling] is
set to [Enabled] on the [Advanced] tab.
