FUNCTIONING MODE
This system let transmit audio and video signals of any domestic device (VCR / DVD / CAMERA / LASER DISC / etc.)
without cables neither complicated installations.
Follow next steps to make a correct installation of the MULTILINK R LT:
1.- Once unpacked, check that you got all parts mentioned at the beginning of this manual.
2.- Identify the receiver (RECEIVER) and its cable RCA-SCART (RECEIVER).
3.- Once you have selected the equipment you want to watch in another room, make the connections with the emitter
(TRANSMITTER). .
4.- Switch on the emitter with switch ON/OFF and select a transmission channel (from 1 to 4) with selection button
located in the lower part of the transmitter, the LED of belonging channel lights.
5.- Then install the receiver in the room where you wish to receive the signal.
6.- Do the connections of the RECEIVER with supplied cable in case that the device where it’s going to be connected has
an SCART input. In the opposite case, you should buy the suitable cable and make the connections as explained in the
case of the emitter.
7.- Once all signal cables are connected, connect the power adapter to the suitable plug of the emitter and plug it into the
mains.
8.- Switch ON the emitter and select the same transmission channel (from 1 to 4) that you chose in the emitter with
selection button located in the upper part of the transmitter, then LED of belonging channel lights.
9.- Sender broadcast their high-quality audio and video using hidden omnidirectional antennas, only need to put the
transmitter and receiver vertically.
10.- Select in your equipment the suitable input channel (AV, EXT1, etc.)
11.- The link is going on, you should watch and hear what is being transmitted from the emitter, if not, look at the
anomalies section.
12.- This sender system not only allows you to send audio/video from one area to another, it also gives you the ability to
control the source using your existing remote control device. It converts the infrared (IR) signal emitted by your remote
control to a radiofrequency (RF) signal at the receiver and sends it back to the transmitter where the RF signal is
converted back to the original IR signal and beamed to the audio/video source.
Sometimes, it may be difficult to orient the transmitter unit “face-to-face” by the A/V equipment you wish to control. So, in
this case, to use in extender IR cable will be more convenient. Put the IR header near opposite to AV source IR receiver.
Connect the other extreme to IR connector on the transmitter unit.
