To replace the main battery pack:
1.

 

Use your thumb to push open the battery door tab (located

under the battery pack) and pull the door outward.

2.

 

Lift the battery pack out of the casing.

3.

 

Place the new battery pack in the casing, making sure that it

connects with the contacts on both sides of the casing.

4.

 

Close the battery door.

Note

 There is no need to replace the standard battery pack unless

you want to upgrade to the extended life battery.

Before using ProGear for the first time, you must insert an AAA

backup battery, which keeps the unit charged while swapping out

the main battery pack. Insert the battery in the battery casing on

the back of ProGear directly above the main battery.
